Our Nursery

Frog Hollow Nursery is a small nursery located on the beautiful Tasman Peninsula, in SE Tasmania, run by husband and wife team, Dave and Zoe. We began the nursery in 1999, growing plants to revegetate our rural property and grow our own food. Since then, the nursery has greatly expanded and now grows a large range of Tasmanian and Australian natives as well as our favourite food garden plants, including heritage apple varieties.

We are passionate about growing plants and living the 'good life'. We grow all of the plants, propagating from locally collected seed and from our own gardens and stock plants. We pride ourselves in growing healthy and fully weather-hardened plants to give you the best possible chance of success in your garden.

We live in our passive solar, mudbrick house on the nursery site, with all electricity to the house and nursery supplied by solar panels. We follow organic principles in our own gardens and in the production of plants in the nursery.

We hope you enjoy our selection.

Happy gardening,

Zoe and Dave.
